didn't have any BBQ in the end... not sure why either...but we had LOADS

was watching a reality show that shows a girl, in a r/s with this guy, who is going to
propose to her b/f. (it's a surprise). well, my mum was there and this was how it went..

mum: these shows are utter rubbish. the American's are destroying the sacredness and
meaning of marriage.

me: well, nowadays, anything can happen. a girl can hook up a guy and even propose.
and it's America you're talking about, so what more! they're a bunch of liberal freaks! you
work with them, so you should have a better understanding of them right!

mum: ya, but it's so degrading for these girls. ok, let's not talk about this show. just look at 'The bachelor'!
flocks of girls, who do not know the bachelor, throwing themselves at him and on live TV! and tonnes of them
getting jealous over someone they know for only....a few days?? ridiculous! now you know why there are so
many sexual tribulations in the US. The media themselves are not conveying the right values to the
viewers!

is usually produced by the Americans and they are the culprit of culture imperialism.

home on a bus filled with INDIANS!!!! 857!!! i think i'm NOT fated to
take that bus home...cos everytime i take that bus home, i'll b=not have a happy ride!
*LOL* (whatever) anyway, back to my experience at chinatown....
there were so many people that i got so afraid of losing my way...
cos seriously if i lose my friend.... i'd totally get lost!! *CRY*
